6 things I learnt at BML16

I learnt a lot at BML16, my first year I knew there would be a lot to take in, but for those that didn’t attend I thought I’d sum up the weekend in six simple points.

So what did I learn at BML16?

I need to have more confidence in my writing style

I always worry about what my writing style is, is it too chatty, too informal? Who cares! It’s my blog and this is my voice. Thanks Mandy Jennings for a great workshop.

I need to be more active on instagram

I don’t spend much time on instagram, other than uploading cute pictures of the pups. Spending just 20 mins engaging with others every time I post was a great rule from Diana in the instagram panel.

Fat girls can run, so lets pile in the cake!

We should have listened to the advice “Bring a suitcase”

Who knew!

I don’t like being outdoors in my PJs at 5am

A nice wakeup call at 5am. alarms going off and everyone out. what a great way to end #bml2016

It’s mad! I knew there’d be a lot but couldn’t quite believe it!
