Ever felt like you just needed to get away from it all? There are plenty of times in our lives, monumental occasions, bad times we have to go through and tough things to deal with that all might make us feel tempted to escape. Some would say you shouldn’t run away from your problems, but actually getting away from it all could give you the perspective and change you need to make things right once more or to at least be able to move forward. So I thought I would share with you some of the destinations you could consider if you want to do this.
Maybe you want to escape and head stateside. Sometimes being around other people and different cultures can help you to see things clearer. You may not want to shop in New York City or enjoy the rides and familyness that Orlando has to offer but there are some fabulous places to relax in The States. Florida actually has some of the best beaches in the world, and Clearwater is one of the places to see. Staying at accomodation like the Fairfield Inn & Suites Clearwater Beach can give you the chance to enjoy the relaxed vibe and the great beach without needing to stray too far away. Other places in the states include going as far as California for the laid back towns of Santa Cruz or Palm Springs, or even heading to Las Vegas to just let your hair down.
The Caribbean Islands
Maybe you want to go “off the grid” and who can blame you if you are feeling a little down and out. So why not consider heading to the Caribbean Islands? There are plenty to choose from, each giving you different things. The British Virgin Islands are quite remote, giving you that feeling of being cut off from the real world. You also have places like Jamaica which have fun filled areas to enjoy, or even something laid back but still has fabulous resorts like Turks and Caicos or the Dominican Republic. It may be a little more pricey, but it could certainly be the escape you need.
Maybe heading to Europe is going to be the best thing for you. Staying a little closer to home and enjoying some of the best cities around. Perhaps avoid Paris if you are not in the romantic mood, but cities like Lisbon or Barcelona could be right up your street. You could also enjoy great beaches in the South of Spain or even heading to the Greek Islands to give you some peace and tranquility.
Somewhere far far away
Finally, for the ultimate escape why not go long haul and head somewhere really far far away. Maybe the likes of Australia, or even places like Thailand, Bali or The Philippines. These places are full of things to do to keep you occupied, but equally can give you the peace you need by allowing you to escape from the real life situations going on at home.
It may not always be the answer, but sometime clearing your head gives you the perspective to move forward.
